It Takes a Village to Celebrate
Yorba Linda-area residents are familiar with East Lake Village, where the tranquility of a lakeside paradise underscores the Yorba Linda’s tagline “Land of Gracious Living.” This theme resonates in many ways, including extending hospitality to the First Team Yorba Linda office. During the office’s recent renovation, the East Lake Village Clubhouse became the company’s temporary venue for their weekly office meetings for nearly three months.
In appreciation of the associations’ graciousness, Bob MacCulloch, branch manager of the Yorba Linda office, has invited the residents of East Lake Village to a local artists’ celebration event from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 8. The reception will showcase local visual and vocal artists William Kritzberg and Jamie Shew.

“Eastlake Village Clubhouse at sunset,” by Yorba Linda-resident and photographer William Kritzberg, will be presented to the community’s Homeowner’s Association as a thank you from the First Team Yorba Linda office.
At the reception, MacCulloch will present the president of the homeowners’ association with a framed photograph of the club house taken by Kritzberg, a noted photographer and long-time resident on the lake at East Lake Village. According to Kritzberg, the high dynamic range photo of the clubhouse photographed from the lake at sunset features three photographs merged together and enhanced to show highly saturated color. Invited East Lake residents will have the opportunity to meet this talented local artist and take home a keepsake of the artists’ work autographed by Kritzberg.
Noted jazz vocalist Jamie Shew, a resident of Placentia, will perform and be giving away two of her CDs. Shew is director of vocal jazz studies at Fullerton College and performs regularly throughout Orange County and greater Los Angeles. She released her latest album and enjoys a musical career among many internationally recognized jazz musicians
“The Yorba Linda community is a tight-knit community as evidenced by their kind offer of assistance during our remodel,” MacCulloch said. “We are delighted to host this celebration event and give our neighbors the opportunity to meet two very talented local artists.”
The by-invitation-only event will be held at the First Team office, which is located in the historic Packing House building at 18180 Yorba Linda Blvd. For more information, call (714) 996-6070.
