Community celebration thrills with jazz and art
More than 150 East Lake Village residents and agents of the First Team Yorba Linda office enjoyed an evening of music, art and gracious hospitality at an evening reception Friday, June 8, at the newly renovated office in Yorba Linda. The evening was in appreciation of the East Lake Village Association’s kindness in allowing the office to host its weekly sales meetings at the clubhouse during their office renovation.

Manager of the First Team Yorba Linda office Bob MacCulloch and visual artist William Kritzberg enjoy a drink in front of William’s photo of the East Lake Clubhouse.
The evening, a local artist celebration, featured photographer William Kritzberg, a resident of East Lake Village. A large sunset photograph of the club house shot by William was presented to the East Lake Association by Bob MacCulloch, manager of the Yorba Linda office. Two of Williams’ original renderings were won by guests Sam Cotta and Paul Manley. A mini-print of the clubhouse photograph was given to attendees as a keepsake of the evening.
Guests and agents enjoyed an array of food and beverages, including cupcakes by local baker Deanne Alizaga of Deevine Cupcake, while they listened to the mellow sounds of jazz singer Jamie Shew. Jamie, a resident of Placentia, donated two of her CDs, which were won by Joe Niesen and Pat Schiada.
Also in attendance was CEO and Founder of First Team Cameron Merage, who was pleased to view the result of the office’s extensive renovation and delighted with the response to the event.
“It was great to see so many East Lake Village residents join us, and everyone enjoyed the relaxed and celebratory ambiance of the evening,” Bob said.
A second ‘by-invitation-only’ open house is scheduled for July 18 when First Team and other area agents will be invited to the official ‘Grand Re-Opening’ of the renovated office. The Yorba Linda office is located in the historic Packing House building at 18180 Yorba Linda Blvd. For more information, call (714) 996-6070.
