First Team Estates Agents Raise $6000 for Safe House for Trafficked Girls

October 21, 2011

First Team Estates agents Liz Bates and Tiffany Jones (pictured, left to right) raised an impressive $6000 to establish a safe house in Costa Rica for child trafficking survivors at an Oct. 14 fundraiser in Laguna Beach.  Held at the Neighborhood Congregational Church, “Party with a Purpose” brought together more than 100 clients and supporters.  The evening event was held in partnership with Finding Freedom International, a Costa Mesa-based organization that provides funding, education and services for children and young women rescued from child slavery and their caregivers in safe houses around the world.

Liz and Tiffany would like to thank everyone who came out to show support for this important cause.  Special thanks go to Bri’s Bakery of The Penguin Café in Laguna Beach, Gnome Approved Home, Samantha Cooley of South Pacific Financial and Katie Wilson-Dicaprio and George Delgado of Homestead Escrow and The Aaron Broering Band.

A second fundraiser for Finding Freedom International will be held on Wednesday, November 30 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at The Coach House, 33157 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano.  To purchase tickets or for more information, contact Liz Bates at 949-689-9258 or
