"Discover Huntington Beach with the agent who knows it best!"

By 6:30 a.m., First Team® agent Jody Clegg already has two hours of her day under her belt and is negotiating her first client offer of the day. An early riser, Jody admits she is a creature of habit; she starts her day with a yoga class and then consciously focuses on what needs to be done to help her clients achieve their goals.

Many agents pay lip service to the expression ‘exceptional client service’ Jody delivers. In a company where there are many exceptional agents, Jody stands out. A flood of laudatory letters singing her praises consistently arrives in the First Team mailbox. First Team Founder and CEO Cameron Merage recently awarded her a Gold Medallion Award at the company’s achievement awards gala.

“Jody exemplifies the ideal real estate agent,” he said. “She is knowledgeable and hard working, but most importantly, her client satisfaction and endorsement/referral ratings are over the top. We are proud to have Jody and her husband Scott as part of our team.”

Jody enjoys the support of an efficient support team but is adamant that she is the point of contact on every transaction.

“My clients have my direct line and email – I am personally available for them and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Jody said.

No wonder clients love her service and return to her time and again. Clients love Jody’s calm and focused demeanor born from selling thousands of homes during her career.

“Selling and buying a home is a very challenging transition for all of us, so what I strive to do is bring ‘balance and peace’ to all involved through patience, listening and counsel,” Jody asserts. “I appreciate the opportunity to be my clients advocate through this process.”

Clients are not the only people to hire Jody to sell their homes. Jody is more than capable and superbly connected – even other licensees and investors contact her for help in selling their own homes. admitting, “[She sells] them fast and for top dollar – better than I can do for myself.”

A licensee for more than 15 years, Jody specializes in Huntington Beach and the adjacent cities. Originally from the East Coast, no-one appreciates the Southern California lifestyle more than her family.

“Our family loves it here. We surf and take wonder as the dolphins swim by, and enjoy an incredible community of families and friends … it doesn’t get any better!” Jody said.

Huntington Beach is where she has raised her family and where her youngest child still attends Huntington Beach High school. It’s also where she volunteers her time for the local schools, their scholastic and athletic programs from Smith, Seacliff, Dwyer, and Huntington Beach High School.

Jody joined First Team as soon as she became a licensee.

“By reputation, First Team was known as a company with the best training and marketing and had the most tools, and that has never changed over the years,” she said. “The innovative services provided by First Team for my clients are unmatched. They are always cutting edge and their programs related to client care are unsurpassed – and that’s important to me and my clients.”

Jody and her family love Southern California and the beach; they ‘live the lifestyle’ and nothing gives her greater pleasure than to enable her clients to ‘live the lifestyle’, too.
